Brincliffe House in Sheffield.
Works comprised of refurbishment of a Grade 2 listed building both externally and internally.
Internally included full decoration throughout, replacement windows with security shutters, suspended ceiling, new flooring, building of a new internal server room, erecting new fire barriers, new lighting, additional sockets creating new meeting rooms and storage areas.
Externally included new roof covering both flat and pitched roof works, Refurbishment of Dormer windows, some major and minor repairs to the overall building, rebuilding and refixing of the Roof pinnacles including gutter and fascias, rebuilding of major external stone walls. Tarmacing driveways, replacement of external doors including the creation of a new external storage room with electric shutters one of the main challenges was that the building had to remain functional and fully occupied by NHS staff throughout the project.
As this building was a grade 2 listed all the windows had to be replaced using specified materials and profiles.
On the external roofs the Finials had to be repaired and or replaced to be in line with the buildings listing
