Once you experience loss, you will need to contact your insurance company and advise them of the damage and what you believe is required.
The provider will then ask you to obtain quotes from companies or provide a list of their approved contractors to contact. At this stage, you should mention you would like Burngreave to carry out the work and will obtain a free quote from us.
We will then arrange with yourself for your property to be surveyed, detailing all the work required. If you notice anything, let us know – at this stage your input is greatly appreciated! With that, we will prepare a detailed report and forward it onto your insurers to assess.
Following this, we will meet with your appointed loss adjusted to negotiate and agree to the repairs – whilst keeping you updated at each stage.
Once negotiations are settled and work is agreed upon, we get to work. Our building insurance work is carried out by vetted tradesmen and we manage the entire project from start to finish.
Upon work completion, we then invoice your insurer. You only have to pay the excess as agreed upon when taking out your policy.
